The Big Happiness Experiment is a registered Community Interest Company founded by its Director Jules Mitchell, who is affectionately known as The M.A.D. Professor. (MAD = Making A Difference) During the past 12 years Jules has been a leading expert in teaching, consulting and lecturing in happiness, well-being, conscious / Creative Parenting™ and emotional intelligence. The Big Happiness Experiment is a melting pot of the best of Positive Psychology, Mindfulness, Laughter Therapy, Neuroscience and Well-being practices and is made up of 10 individual ‘Experiments’. These experiments form the basis for all courses, programmes and teaching modules for schools, child centred organisations and parents.

Jules has been a ‘go to expert’ for the BBC for many years and has been featured in both local newspapers and The Daily Telegraph. She had a happiness column in the Birmingham Mail and is a regular contributor to many national magazines such as Psychologies, Woman and Top Sante for whom she is now a resident expert.
